Shawn Calhoun should be in jail

victimsofshawn is a forum for those who have been used and abused by Shawn Calhoun. She is a parasitic black widow of business who scuddles around Anchorage perpetuating the image of a succesful magazine publisher who runs away with advertisers money without printing, paying her designers or other sub contractors and disappears until she is legally able to file for bankruptcy. She has done it twice now. THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG IS TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE AND MAKE AWARE HER WHEREABOUTS.

Shawn Calhoun is seeking employment in Anchorage!




BELIEVE IT OR NOT FOLKS, Shawn Calhoun is still in town and she's still playing her litle violin for people. She is actually seeking employment in Anchorage. It would seem her scheming is falling short in the funds department. She recently got hired at a local prestigous hotel until a victimsofshawn team mate enlightened the establishment to her background and cons. She was promptly terminated. She may be seeking employment at another hotel, health clubs or fitness centers. Word on the street is that she has gained several pounds and she's probably looking for employment where she may partake in a discounted health plan. Always the barterer i guess.

Well, there's my update to this new forum for Shawn victims. Hopefully with frequent postings and activism, we may squash her attempts to ruin Anchorage and it's businesses. A note to all designers out there: SHE WILL BE LOOKING FOR NAIVE DESIGNERS TO DO HER WORK, BUT SHE WILL NEVER PAY YOU. BEWARE.

    I can't imagine anyone wanting to hire this woman. She's got enough debt to be scary in any position where she would handle money. She's got ethics to make her untrustworthy or potentially dangerous enough to cause another "Enron."
    So, essentially, she's qualified as a beautician or a receptionist...but nothing more.

    I do hope she finds a legitimate way to earn a living someday. It's better than conning honest, trusting, hard-working people that believe all of her ridiculous lies. But, I mean, come on -- who would want *that* representing their company. Ew.

    So, score one for Kharma.

    I think there should be an actual post where everyone outlines what Shawn Calhoun did to them. Oh! Also that court case and how she came in a filed bankruptcy...that's choice.

    Oh the Evil one! The scheemer. She has ruined my faith in Entrepenuers. I've learned an expensive lesson. Thousands of dollars worth of work down the tubes. for nothing , Just to put another pair of too tight leather pants on the Wicked Witch. I wonder who she'll target next into doing her bidding for free. . All you folks out there learn from our mistakes in not seeeing through the Black Vail of deceit.

    Shawn is a pathological liar, a thief, and a crook. She will victimize anyone who tries to help her. She plays the "I'm a victim" routine really well. She pretends to try to help you, but really she's just trying to get in your wallet or use you for some unknown reason. BEWARE!!!!

    This woman is truly crazy - evil crazy. We hear from her kids that she has left Anchorage and moved to North Carolina. There is some sort of investigation going on here. Watch out North Carolina!

    Shawn is currently living in Charlotte, NC and has her own landscaping business. Here's my take on her....

    We just completed a small landscaping project with Shawn Calhoun, Mother Nature’s Garden. We had seen her work in our neighbor and liked it very much. We found out quickly that we did not like the way she works. She describes her process as “organic.” What that meant on our project was one surprise after another and an end result that was nothing like what we asked for or agreed upon up front. Shawn changed plans, spent our plant budget on areas that weren’t a priority for us and bought ONE plant for the area that was our primary focus. We’re concerned about some of her plant choices and whether they will survive much less thrive in the conditions where they are planted. She changed the terms of the deal midway through the project and halted all work with our yard in a mess until we agreed to pay her the remaining balance in cash. We would not work with her again or ever recommend her.
